Public art is kind of a funny term. Art (most of it anyway) is meant for the public. But too often it ends up feeling inaccessible or intimidating. That is why I am passionate about public art: its entire purpose is to be seen, used, and fully experienced by people.
I have more than 18 years of experience planning, managing, and executing temporary and permanent art projects from the earliest concept stages through installation and completion. My work spans public, private, and commercial clients, and I thrive on the collaboration it takes to make art part of everyday life.
By supporting and fostering dynamic placemaking projects that draw people into the world of art, I aim to eliminate the ego that sometimes surrounds it and get people genuinely excited and engaged with the creative energy that is all around them.
I have led and curated public art programs for organizations including Houston Arts Alliance, Downtown Houston+, the Ion, and Royal Caribbean, producing projects that connect people to place through storytelling and civic identity.

Every project starts with listening. I focus on what makes a place tick, the stories, textures, and communities that give it identity, and build from there. From artist selection and design development to fabrication and installation, I keep the process collaborative, efficient, and meaningful.

Typical support includes:

Public Art Planning
I create public art plans and strategies that help communities and organizations thoughtfully integrate art into their environments. Each plan identifies opportunities for impact, aligns with local goals, and supports long-term cultural growth.
Services include:
• Art master plans and policy development
• Site identification and opportunity mapping
• Community engagement strategies
Art Consulting for Private Clients
I advise developers, property owners, and private collectors on curating or commissioning artwork that enhances a space and tells its story. My approach combines art-world expertise with practical project management to make the process both creative and seamless.
Offerings include:
• Artwork selection, acquisition, and placement
• Commission oversight from concept to installation
• Collection strategy and documentation
Every project is different, but the goal is always the same: make art accessible, inspiring, and integrated into everyday life. I collaborate closely with clients, artists, and design teams to ensure the process is transparent, efficient, and enjoyable from start to finish.
